Restoring The Reverence

2 Corinthians 7:1 ...Perfecting holiness in the fear of God… Some things are counted worthy of reverence. In the Word of God we see an awe-inspiring sense of the soul-transforming presence of the Holy God. There’s a reverence and honour… His Name - Psalm 111:9, The Sanctuary, The Home, The Sabbath, The Word, The Aged. Our Service ought to be holy.

True Biblical holiness isn’t about… Narrow-mindedness and legalism, it is about belonging to God, and the 'wholeness' and true quality of life that He brings. Real reverence has gone missing. A call for a return to God-centred worship and living.

Be Not Deceived!

Where will it all end? Luke 21:25-28. Deception is one of the hallmarks of the end times. 2 Timothy 3:1, This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

Things to watch out for: laziness, vain religion, influences, pride. 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils… Deception can take many forms, including religious garb and dress. Be alert. Matthew 24:11 ...many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many... Counterfeits, false doctrines, strong delusion.

Believe not every spirit. Discernment is needed. A call to the sufficiency of scripture. The Scripture Alone is the Standard. For the Glory of God Alone. By Christ's Work Alone are We Saved. Salvation by Grace Alone. Justification by Faith Alone.
