Church For You is an independent Bible Baptist church. We're Bible believers who love the Lord Jesus - and love to introduce people to Him!

The Head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. We're glad to bring His message of hope to our world from the Holy Bible, the only sure foundation on which to build our lives.

We believe people are precious to God. He has a purpose for every life, from the youngest to the oldest.

It's a joy to discover Christ's wonderful work of salvation, that “by grace ye are saved through faith”. Our community needs this vital message!  Our mission is to touch lives for the Lord as we faithfully teach and preach the Bible.

Church For You is a down-to-earth, caring family of God's people. It's our heartfelt prayer for you to know Christ personally as your Saviour, and be actively involved in a Bible-believing church that will care for you. We invite you to be a part of this friendly family of believers.

Aims

Church For You is founded for the glory of God, as a Christ-centred ministry. As a self-supported autonomous church we depend on the blessing of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the good will of our members.

As a church we serve to: glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, obey the Bible, edify the saints, win the lost, and care for the needy. Our essential aim is not to please or entertain men, but to please God in doctrine and practice. We love the Lord and strive to serve Him in sincerity and in truth.

Church For You is a local church family that stands strongly for the truth and life-impacting power of God's Word. It is a God fearing, Christ exalting, and Holy Spirit directed Church.

What do we believe?

In summary, we hold fast to the Holy Bible, as the final authority for faith and life. We see God revealed to us as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. There is a real Hell for you to shun and a Heaven for you to gain. By His grace God offers man His free gift of salvation. You can receive eternal life through personally trusting in Christ's sacrifice for man's sin.

The believer is kept by God's power, and called to holiness of heart and life, and to separation from apostasy and unbelief, in anticipation of Christ's return. God has established the local church as a special part of His plan, as a family of faith, where believers are to faithfully gather, grow, and serve, as a mission station in their local community.

Church Activities

As believers we get together to worship, pray and fellowship. We love to hear the Word of God and build up one another in the faith, and proclaim the Gospel.

Our worship services are founded on Biblical principles, and aim to minister to the soul and spirit rather than to the emotions and flesh. We have uplifting, God honouring music that reflects the worth and majesty of our God.

Morning & Evening services, choir, Sunday School, Youth Program, Outreach, Bible studies, prayer meetings, fellowship lunches, breakfasts, social outings, drama group, community meals.

Vision

The Lord has long burdened the heart of Pastor Andrew Craig with a vision to serve, and to plant a sound gospel church in Adelaide's Northern suburbs. Church For You was formed in February 1999, starting out with eight people meeting in a school hall.

Church For You has a vision to reach people with the Gospel Message, make disciples, build people in faith, and impact our community and the mission-field for Christ.

The church has long had a vision for outreach, commencing youth activities in October 1999, and Sunday School from October 2000. As part of its missionary vision it has a bus service that provides access for families across the region.

Kirk Street, Elizabeth Park, has been our mission base since October 2001. An existing building was used at first, and now a new building provides a great facility for meetings. We give God the glory for His wonderful provision over the years and look forward to what the future holds.

We are forever grateful for our past, rejoicing about our present, and looking forward to the future with great anticipation. We pray that He would lead us in all that we do.
