Jonah

Jonah went in the opposite direction but God redirected him.  He tried to disobey God's Word and escape God's presence and plan, but to no avail.  God has a way of getting our attention.  We cannot outrun God.  He extends kindness still if you will but trust Him.

God Manifested

An encounter with the invisible God, Who has made Himself known.  He is not far removed or hidden away.  He visits us.  His presence is evident, with His worshiping people.  God is manifested, in the Glory cloud and firey pillar.  He is manifested in the flesh - in the Person of Jesus Christ.  And He is manifested today in the Body of Christ, the church of which He is its driving force.

The Glory of God

A recurring theme in God's Word is His glory. He wants us to be changed for His glory, and form glory to glory. That He sets the agenda for our lives. We can be channels for His glory. Our prvilege and duty is to bring Him glory. The chielf end of man is to give Him glory. Be a wise steard. Be the church for His glory. Let that be your goal. Your driving force. He is the King of Glory and we want to truly honour Him. As an authentic church for His glory it is this that shapes our every decision and emphasis. Our primary objective is to bring Him Glory.
