  1. The Bible never mentions the first day of the week Sunday, as being 'the Lord's day'. In fact it is just a regular day in the week, biblically speaking. In Exodus Chapter 20, God specifically says that the 7th Day is the Sabbath Day, because He created the world in 6 days and then rested upon the 7th Day and then commanded all to keep that day holy.

When we take a look back through history, we see that Christians kept the Saturday Sabbath, the 7th Day, all the way up until 321 when the Emperor Constantine incorporated Sunday-keeping into worship, in order to win the Pagans to Christianity. It was a compromise with Pagan worship.

This is why in the prophetic Book of Daniel, it says that the Antichrist would 'change times and laws'.
Daniel:7:25: "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws".

The Roman Catholic Church freely admits of changing the Sabbath to Sunday in the Church, and that it isnt anywhere to be found in the Holy Scriptures. They even laugh at the fact that Protestants, who claim to go by Sola Scriptura, instead bow to Church Tradition and the Catholic command to keep the Sunday holy, rather than the 7th Day Sabbath, as God commanded.

"The Bible says, Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day. The Catholic church says, No! By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day, and command you to keep the first day of the week. And lo, the entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic church!" Father Enright, C.S.S.R. of the Redemptoral College, Kansas City, History of the Sabbath, p. 802

SUNDAY is our MARK of authority. . . . The church is ABOVE the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.”—Catholic Record, September 1, 1923.

In fact, if you do a thorough study on this Sabbath/Sunday issue, you will discover that Sunday-keeping is, in fact, the Mark of the Beast power, as warned about in the Book of Revelation 14:6-12. That is why it says 'worship Him who created the heavens and the earth and the sea...' -quoting straight from the 4th Commandment, the Sabbath Commandment. Because God knew it would be changed by the Papal System. Little wonder then that the warning includes the fact that the Saints are 'they that keep the Commandments OF GOD'. Rv 14:6-12. Jesus said Mark:7:7: "Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
